1. Introduction and acceptance
Zinimi Patafa, operating from Strada George Enescu 33, Bucharest, provides packing, crating and unpacking services described on this website. Booking a visit, by phone, email or through the contact form, means you accept these terms.
2. Description of services
Our services cover wrapping fragile items, building custom crates for artwork and mirrors, packing wardrobe boxes, packing kitchens by drawer, and unpacking once boxes have been delivered. We do not provide transport; that is arranged separately with a moving company of your choice.
3. Booking and scheduling
Visits are scheduled around dates you confirm with us and, where relevant, around the pickup and delivery window set by your moving company. Timely confirmation of these dates helps keep the schedule accurate.
4. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed time, and for pointing out items that need special handling, such as antiques, electronics or items of particular sentimental or financial value, before packing begins.
5. Payment terms
Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Invoices for corporate or multi-household bookings are issued according to the arrangement made with the relevant HR or facilities contact.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
If a moving date changes, please let us know as early as possible so packing and unpacking visits can be rescheduled around the new timeline.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in wrapping, crating and handling belongings, in line with the general standard of care expected under Romanian civil law for service providers. Clients are encouraged to check whether their moving company's insurance, or a separate policy, covers the value of especially valuable or irreplaceable items during transport, since our service does not include appraisal or insurance of goods.
8. Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, or other events that prevent a scheduled visit from taking place as planned.
9. Intellectual property
The text, layout and images on this website belong to Zinimi Patafa or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without prior agreement.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from them fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bucharest.
11. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a service provided, please contact us directly first at [email protected]. Consumers in Romania may also refer unresolved disputes to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC).
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its Last Updated date, is the one that applies.
